Curical’s initial emphasis has been on the incorporation of copper into multifilament sutures.
To realize this vision, we collaborated with experienced suture manufacturers from around the world to develop our prototypes. Additionally, we partnered with leading US Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to conduct our comprehensive efficacy and safety testing.
Our robust efficacy data unequivocally showcases our copper-based sutures’ superiority over triclosan-based sutures in a quantitative in-vitro model. Furthermore, we have in-vivo data that further bolsters our findings.
When it comes to safety, our data demonstrates no potential for sensitization, no potential for systemic toxicity, and a tissue reaction profile comparable to that of triclosan-based sutures.
This is just a sneak peek at our remarkable results in combating Staphylococcus aureus.
